It depends on the registration and licensing regulation of the country you want to practice. It is the responsibility of the students to do their own research, and to register with authorized or competent agency responsible for the practice of Acupuncture in the country they desire to practice.

Mexico

There is no general licensing or registration requirement to practice acupuncture in Mexico. That said, the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) does have some requirements that must be met in order to operate a clinic or office.

United Kingdom

There's no statutory regulation of acupuncture in England. The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is the leading self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. Members of the BAcC belong to an accredited register, regulated and approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health & Social Care (PSA). Acupuncture is sometimes available on the NHS*

United States

To become a licensed acupuncturist in most states in the U.S., individuals must meet the education and certification requirements set by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). The NCCAOM serves as the standard for acupuncture practice nationwide, except in California, which has its own licensing process.

Canada

In order to practice as a R.Ac or Registered Acupuncturist (synonymous with L.Ac in the United States) or any other protected title in one of those five provinces, an individual must successfully complete the Pan-Canadian Written and Clinical Case-Study Examinations issued across all five provinces by the Canadian Alliance of Regulatory Bodies of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CARB-TCMPA).

Yes, we allow students a maximum of 2 years to complete all the theory and practical classes, and pass all the exams. For any incomplete modules, you can revise without extra cost within that 2 years period before taking the exam.

You have to retake the whole module in case you fail the exam. And you have to pay for the module fee again.

Yes, but we only allow you to do this in case of emergency. because we believe the interaction between teacher and students are very important.

We do believe all the courses we offer, require some in-person training hours, because all the therapies we provide involve physical contact with your patients. That is why those in-person practical classes are crucial to improve your interpersonal skills dealing with patients. Therefore, we are sorry to tell you that we cannot give you the diploma until you finish all the theory and practical classes and pass all the exams.

However, if you can gather 5 persons to take my course together in your country, I might be able to fly to your country and do the practical classes and exams there.
