Module 6 - Therapeutic Massage Course

Experience the healing art of touch in "Module 6 - Therapeutic Massage," a self-paced course that places special emphasis on Tui-na massage—one of the cornerstones of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This module is meticulously designed to guide you through both basic and compound Tui-na manipulations, empowering you to master techniques that stimulate energy flow, release blockages, and restore harmony within the body. You’ll learn the foundational hand movements, rolling, kneading, pressing, and advanced compound manipulations that make Tui-na a powerful therapeutic tool for pain relief and holistic wellness. In addition to Tui-na, this course offers in-depth training in Acupressure, Deep Tissue, and Swedish massage styles. Discover how Acupressure targets specific points to alleviate tension and promote healing, while Deep Tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to address chronic pain and stiffness. Swedish massage, renowned for its gentle, flowing strokes, is introduced as a method to enhance relaxation, improve circulation, and support overall well-being. Here is the Course content: Revision of Anatomy and Meridians (2 hrs) Basic Hand Manipulations (4 hrs) Compound Hand Manipulations (4 hrs) Practical - Deep Tissue massage (5 hrs) Practical - Tui-na massage (5 hrs) Practical - Acupressure massage (5 hrs) Practical - Swedish Relaxing massage (5 hours) Massage Application on various illnesses and injuries (4 hours) Exams (2 hrs) The practicals will be arranged in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico after the student complete all the online lectures. Basically the practicals will be divided into 4 days, each day 6 hours with practical training on different massage techniques, practicing on each other and with real patients. The last 2 hours will be practical assessment to determine if the students acquire all the knowledge in this module and can offer a Therapeutic Massage session with full confidence.
